Green Smoothies To Live For!

Green smoothies are the best way to consume a high-concentration of nutrients, and fill-up with healthy calories too. These recipes are perfect for any time of day, and will keep you feeling satisfied and energized for hours. All you do is combine the ingredients in a high-speed blender and mix until smooth. Sorry, no pictures this time. These smoothies went down so fast I didn’t get a chance to flash!

Ginger Mango Green Protein Smoothie
1 ½ cups mango chunks
2 T hemp protein
2 tsp maca powder
1 T coconut oil, cold pressed virgin
½” grated fresh ginger
dash ground ginger powder
2 cups baby spinach
1 banana, peeled
2 pitted dates
1 ½ cups coconut water
½ tsp matcha green tea
¼ cup raw almonds, shelled
1 T vanilla, organic non-alcoholic extract
ice
Jack Fruit Green Smoothie
¼ cup raw almonds, shelled
2 pitted dates
1 cup shredded Romaine lettuce
½ tsp matcha green tea, combined with 1 cup water
1 T coconut oil, cold pressed virgin
1 tsp vanilla, organic non-alcoholic extract
1 cup fresh jack fruit, removed from pod
few drops SweetLeaf liquid stevia, vanilla creme flavor
ice

Pear Walnut Smoothie
1 large pear, peeled and seeded
2 pitted dates
¼ cup to ½ cup raw walnuts, shelled
3-6 large Romaine lettuce leaves
1 cup filtered water
1 T vanilla, organic non-alcoholic extract
dash ground cinnamon
ice

Strawberry Nectarine Green Smoothie
1 – 1 1/2 cups strawberries, stemmed
1 nectarine (stone and chopped)
1 banana (peeled)
3-4 large Romaine leaves
¼ cup raw almonds, shelled
2 pitted dates
1 T vanilla, organic non-alcoholic extract
few drops SweetLeaf liquid stevia, vanilla creme flavor
1 ½ – 2 filtered cups water
